Dudley Rifle Club at Capacity

05 April 2017

As you may have seen from the banner that appeared last year at the top of the Dudley Rifle Club Website, our small club in the heart of the Black Country has gained popularity the past few years and has got to the stage where we are starting to out-grow our facilities.

There has been an amazing surge in enquiries from people wishing to learn to shoot, which is most encouraging for our sport, unfortunately we do not currently have the resources to take on new members. We are strictly on a one-out one-in policy, to ensure that our members can continue to shoot in an enjoyable non-chaotic environment.

There is currently a waiting list of 8 people waiting to get on to probationary membership, probation takes roughly 3 months and we can only take on new probationers as existing members relinquish their membership, which doesn't happen often.

This is the reality of why we cannot accept new members at this time.

Please note, that as a club we are committed to finding a solution to the problem of not having enough space and lanes on the range to cater to a larger number of members and are working hard to expand the club, however this is a time-consuming and expensive endeavour, and as we are a member-run club we rely on the generosity of our committee and members for their time and support to put into this project.
