Christmas Shoot 30th December 2017

The second annual Christmas Shoot (From the Bench) happened yesterday, and with it lots of new faces got to experience the joy of shooting and also the joy of shooting in a competition.

We had 16 guests and members shooting for glory, and with the targets that were presented, it could have been anyones.

Thanks to Janet Gough for cooking the breakfast for all, and also to everyone who helped out on and off the range.

Hot drinks were flowing, food was fantastic and a great day was had by all.

We used 4 very different rifles on 4 very different targets to give an even playing field to experienced shots and beginners alike.

In 3rd Place, Scoring 96 on the 10 spot, 100 on the PL14, 7 on the xmas tree and 80 on the darts, Dale Harvey.

In 2nd Place, Scoring 90 on the 10 spot, 93 on the PL14, 15 on the xmas tree and 98 on the darts, Guest - Ken Roberts.

In 1st Place, Scoring 92 on the 10 spot, 100 on the PL14, 21 on the xmas tree and 132 on the darts, Matthew Forster.

Congratulations to everyone who came down to join in with our competition, we hope you all had a fantastic time, as we enjoyed having you as our guests.
